Fire Suppression Training – Students learn about types, classifications and components of fire and how to effectively control and extinguish them. When requested, a 1-hour hands-on session can be added.

First Aid/CPR/BBP Training – This is a comprehensive first aid course, which focuses on industrial injuries/accidents, as well as serious medical problems. Some of the topics include: Bloodborne Pathogens, treatment of heart attack and shock, splinting and bandaging, seizures, lifting and moving techniques, and control of bleeding. Lecture and hands-on practice are utilized for maximum retention. NSC certifications are issued upon completion.

First Responder Disaster Medical Emergency Response Team Training – This training develops an Emergency Response Team and is a more in depth, hands-on Disaster Medical Training. The Emergency Responder Team will be taught how to assess the scene, determine injuries, and treat and care for ill and injured disaster victims. Training for major medical problems, transporting patients, triage, fractures, and trauma care is covered in an in-depth manner to stabilize and care for the victim until professional help can be obtained. This course includes real life scenarios.

Forklift Safety Training – This classroom portion of OSHA required forklift safety training is appropriate for any employee who may be expected to operate a forklift. The course includes major compliance requirements, surveying the work area, correct operating procedures, recognizing potential problems and equipment maintenance. This course may be combined with Forklift Practical Application Training for complete compliance with OSHA’s forklift training regulation.

Hazardous Waste Operations Emergency Response (HazWoper) Site Worker Training – Comprehensive training for site employees with daily exposure to hazardous materials. Students will learn how to properly remove and clean-up hazardous waste. This course covers federal regulatory and emergency response requirements; hazard recognition, evaluation, and control; decontamination procedures; spill containment; personal protective equipment; and respiratory protection.

Hazardous Waste Operations Emergency Response (HazWoper) Supervisor Training – For supervisors of Hazwoper trained workers. Supervisors must complete initial 24-40 hour HazWoper training before taking this course. Students will learn how to properly and safely supervise employees who work in hazardous waste clean-up activities.

Hazardous Waste Operations Emergency Response (HazWoper) Management & Supervisor Training – This Course is designed for hazardous waste site supervisors. Participants are trained to present and implement the company’s safety, health hazard monitoring, and protective equipment programs. Also includes orientation to record-keeping documentation and spill containment techniques.

Hazardous Waste Operations Emergency Response (HazWoper) Refresher – A one day workshop for employees who have received a minimum of 24 hours of HazWoper training, this course will update participants on revisions to the federal and state health and safety regulations, as well as the newest technical innovations.

Hazardous Material First Responder – Awareness – This course deals with the witnessing or discovery of a hazardous substance release. It teaches students how to initiate an emergency response by securing the area and calling in an emergency response team.

Hazardous Material First Responder – Operational – This class instructs students who may be first responders to a hazardous substance release, how to protect lives, property and the environment without actually attempting to stop or clean up the release.

Length: 24 Hours

Hazardous Material First Responder – Technician – This course is for students who are expected to aggressively respond to hazardous substance releases. They are taught how to survey the situation, control leaks or spills, mitigate the incident, and rescue others. This class is composed of lecture and hands-on training such as exercises and drills to simulate an actual spill situation. The structure of Incident Command System (ICS) is also covered, but the actual Incident Command System course is the next level. Refreshers should be given once a year to up-date your employees.

40-Hour Hazardous Materials Industrial Technician – This course is for students who are expected to aggressively respond to hazardous substance releases. They are taught how to survey the situation, control leaks or spills, mitigate the incident, and rescue others. This class is composed of lecture and hands-on training such as exercises and drills to simulate an actual spill situation. Topics include: Regulatory Overview, Accepted Safety Practices, Emergency Response Planning, Site Control Concepts, Incident Command System, Recognition and Identification of hazardous materials, toxicology, Medical Surveillance Program, Reference Materials, Respiratory Protection, Chemical Protective Clothing, Medical Considerations for Chemical Protective Clothing, Atmospheric Monitoring Device, Confined Space Considerations, Hazard & Risk Assessment, Decontamination and Rescue Considerations . The practical portion will include multiple hands on drills that will test the response team’s capabilities for handling a hazardous materials incident and the effectiveness of your company’s emergency response plan. This 40-hour course will developed to be site-specific and product specific to meet your needs.
